Park Protector: reported incidents

Zajedničkim snagama članova HGSS Stanice Osijek, djelatnika i prijatelja Parka ovaj smo vikend očistili i uredili ribolovnu zonu na Vemeljskom Dunavcu. Lijepo vrijeme i prekrasna priroda učinili su da je rad protekao u dobrom raspoloženju i ugodnom druženju. Vjerujemo da će očišćeni okoliš potaknuti posjetitelje da ubuduće više paze na čistoću.

Green Cleanup campaign was held in Biokovo Nature Park with great success on Saturday, 23 April 2016. The campaign was held in cooperation with the mountaineering society HPD Biokovo and the speleological club SAK Ekstrem from Makarska, together with the mountaineering society HPD Sv. Jure Zagvozd from the town of Zagvozd. Campaign participants cleaned the area of the Park entrance, a wider area around the Vošac mountain lodge, the peak of Vošac, and the area around the peak of Sv. Jure.

In a series of campaigns in April, volunteers of the Mljet National Park cleaned up sea waste along the coast, with over 400 bags of mostly small waste collected as a result of these efforts.

Krka National Park staff, together with the volunteers, joined the Green Cleanup global volunteer campaign. As a result, an illegal waste disposal site at the locality of Lozovac, not far from the main entrance to the National Park, has been cleaned up.

On Saturday, 23 April, Green Cleanup campaign was successfully implemented in Vransko Jezero Nature Park, in cooperation with the local community. Approximately 20 participants joined the campaign, ranging from children to senior citizens. Contributors to this successful campaign included the sport fishing association Podlanica from Biograd; Yvonne Richner Škiljić from the Mountain Bike Club Pakoštane; local community; company AG Barešić i SINOVI d.o.o. – an entrepreneur from Drage who provided combination pliers and a waste removal truck for the campaign; City of Biograd na Moru, which ensured waste disposal services together with the company Bošana d.o.o.; craft for transportation services LOŠI.
