This year, during the main tourist season, the Krka National Park is participating in ensuring additional healthcare in the area of the City of Skradin and the Krka National Park.

With this in mind, an Agreement on Co-financing the Emergency Medical Service was signed with the Institute of Emergency Medicine of Šibenik-Knin County.

The safety and health of people are one of our most important priorities. We believe that accessible and effective emergency medical care is essential, both for the residents of our county and for the numerous domestic and foreign guests who visit the Krka National Park in the summer months. We are pleased that we can make a concrete contribution through this cooperation, and we believe that the emergency teams will be ready to respond to all challenges”, announced the director of the Krka National Park, Nella Slavica.

During the summer season, over three hundred and fifty thousand visitors enter the Park through the Skradin entrance, which is why additional health care organization is of extreme importance. The increased traffic and larger number of people in the area require a quick response in emergency situations, in order to ensure the safety of all present.

The Director of the Institute of Emergency Medicine of Šibenik-Knin County, Tomislav Jukić, emphasized the importance of this cooperation: "The support of the Krka National Park is extremely valuable to us because it allows for additional preparedness and the better organization of work during the most demanding part of the year. Such partnerships with local institutions are crucial for providing timely and high-quality emergency medical care to all citizens of and visitors to our county."

Cooperation with the local community and relevant institutions is one of the important goals of the Krka National Park. This also includes taking care of the safety and health of all visitors, so that their stay in the Park and in Šibenik-Knin County will be remembered as a pleasant and safe experience.
